14.04????? 12.04!

Hola, desde que actualicé a la versión 14.04 tengo un problema con la barra del lanzador que aparece a la izquierda. No me aparecen los iconos, aparece el rectángulo donde esta la barra en negro y sin los iconos. He comprobado la configuración en Configuración de sistema> Apariencia> Comportamiento, cambiándola de todas las formas posibles y no hay manera. ¿A que puede ser debido? Un saludo. jose.

Hola muy buenas, estoy tratando de instalar sobre debian un servidor de correo para aprender a manejar un poco ldap. La idea es guardar los usuarios en la bbdd ldap. He seguido el siguiente tutorial, que aunque sea para ubuntu, creo que podría valer perfectametne para debian. Lo he probado pero me falla en el punto: root< at >debian:/etc/ldap# ldapmodify -x -D cn=admin,cn=config -W -f acl.ldif Enter LDAP Password: ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49) Le pongo bien la contraseña de administración, inclusive le meto la contraseña en MD5 y nada. Alguien tiene algún tutorial o algún enlace en el que se pueda montar postifx+ldap correctamente? Me gustaría aprender un poco de ldap ya que son muy rápidas las querys. Saludos.

Recuerda que una conexion se define como la tupla (ip origen:puerto origen ; ip destino:puerto destino), para empezar, no entiendo porqué cada conexión va a requerir su propio puerto,si cada máquina que dá el servicio soporta un máximo de 25.000 conexiones (por lo que sea), eso solo significa que a priori lo que tienes es un problema de balanceo, no implica que necesites 1 IP por cada 25.000 conexiones. Esto no tiene ni pies ni cabeza, las conexiones UDP también atraviesan los firewall sin problemas. Es que es probable que estés haciendo la pregunta incorrecta. Saludos

Hola. A ver si alguien me puede aclarar una duda que me ha surgido. No tiene nada que ver con la lista, pero seguro que algun admin me la puede solucionar. Supongamos que creo un servicio, que necesita conexión TCP permanente. Supongamos que tengo 100.000 usuarios. ¿ Se puede hacer con una sola IP pública, o necesito varias ? Si cada conexión requiere un puerto para ella sola, y cada máquina soporta, pongamos, 25.000 conexiones, ¿ que necesito, 4 IP públicas ? y si los usuarios aumentan, ¿ más IPs ?. Por fuerza tiene que ser TCP, para admitir clientes detrás de firewalls y similares. He buscando por San Google, pero no encuentro nada satisfactorio. Muchas gracias, y perdón por el OT.
